Directions From the Savannah International Airport
· Exiting the airport you will follow I-95 South to I-16 East in the direction of Savannah. · From I-16 E you will exit RIGHT on Exit 166 and stay in the LEFT LANE, following the signs to Hwy 17 (North) (Charleston/Hardeeville). · These signs will lead you onto the large suspension bridge, spanning the Savannah River. Just ahead of you and to your right, you will see The Westin Savannah. · Once on the bridge merge into the RIGHT lane, and above your head you will see signs for Hutchinson Island. · At the bottom of the bridge the RIGHT lane exits and you will be on the access road that will bring you straight to the Westin. There are also signs pointing you to the hotel. · You are about 1.5 miles from the hotel from that exit point. · The trip should only take you about 30 minutes. Directions From Atlanta To Savannah · Take I - 75 South from Atlanta to Macon. · In Macon exit onto I - 16 East. · Follow I - 16 East for 167 miles into Savannah. · Take exit # 166 (exit to the RIGHT and stay in the LEFT lane (follow the signs toward Hwy 17 North—Hardeeville/Charleston). · Follow Hwy 17 over the Talmadge Bridge. · You will be able to see the Westin Savannah from the bridge just ahead of you off to the RIGHT. · Now merge into the RIGHT lane (you will see flashing lights on the signs above your head for Hutchinson Island). · At the end of the bridge, the right lane will exit and you will be on the access road that will bring you to the hotel. You will see signs for the Westin and once on this road you are about 1.3 miles from the hotel. |
